SOUND UP: Spectacular pre-dawn launch of Chinese Long March-2C blasts 11 navigation satellites

JUST IN: A stunning pre-dawn launch of Chinese Log March-2C thunders off the Xichang launchpad to blast 11 Geely-02 satellite constellation to orbit. Early morning Beijing time on Saturday, Feb 03, 2024, a Long March-2C carrier rocket blasted off to launch the Geely-02 constellation from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Southwest China’s Sichuan Province, and the 11 satellites entered the preset orbit. China successfully launched the GeeSAT-02 satellite group using the Long March-2C carrier rocket at the Xichang Satellite Launch Center, and 11 satellites entered the designated orbit. The launch mission was a complete success. the company says they plan to get up to 72 satellites to LEO for this car navigation & comms support constellation.
