MONACO SOUNDCHECK (this features Zess/Otis/soundcheck) Automatic chapters every 5 minutes... Ok, folks, here we go with the video stuff. First of all, here´s the infamous Monaco 1981 soundcheck footage. Quality on most of the circulating copies is like this: NOT TOO GOOD. The quality varies from (out of a high gen experienced collector`s perspective) quite enjoyable and watchable to absolutely unbearable. But you have the rare opportunity to see Christian working with the group on Zess and some other stuff. Actually, Christian seeems to piss some people of, namely Stella and D. Bertram and leaves the soundcheck for a while. Priceless footage! This DVD starts off with the bonus track, PTAH from an Offering concert in London in 1988. This is IMHO one of the most spirited drum solos I have ever seen. I felt the need to somehow pass this on to everyone. The London tape is also not too good quality. But the music is what counts.....
