8Dio Wrenchenspiel

This video demonstrates the 8Dio deep-sampled Wrenchenspiel, which was made by carefully assembling a massive array of tuned wrenched. The Wrenchenspiel contains 18 different core articulations, step-based sequencer/arp, live-triggered FX etc. We recorded the Wrenchenspiel with anything from soft mallet to true electrocution of the device - from more percussive elements like hammer and wrenched to mimicking traditional instruments like Rhodes and Hammond organs.
