Sanguinária (Finland / US) — Sede Vampírica — 2022 EP

The debut of this transcontinental coalition act, oddly all in Portuguese. This is a mildly lo-fi black metal with also an intense presence of synths. This creates a stellar mix of dungeon and blackened textures with plenty of harmonies even on vocals, despite being quite harsh. Even if the songwriting might not be mind-blowing it is quite well performed especially the vocals, synths and neat bass line. A quite interesting project to keep track and see where it might end up.
