Bulunggitj F#/G# yidaki | historical instrument

Bulunggitj Wunungmurra is the 15 year old son of Bruce Burrngupurrngu Wunungmurra, a remarkable yidaki craftsman who was also a first-rate player in his youth. A number of today’s best yidaki players in eastern Arnhem Land credit Burrngupurrngu as their inspiration and their teacher. Among them was the late Mr M. Mununggurr, the original yidaki player for the Yothu Yindi band.
