I’m covering this protest against the authoritarian Bulgarian right wing government which has weakened our democracy, tainted our justice system, banned referendums, and got caught in multiple corruption schemes including making deals with politicians sanctioned under the Magnitsky Act in the U.S. I’m covering this protest merely from a journalistic point of view, as an independent journalist covering protests in general.
