“New Year Gala: Ode to Spring“ gathers top Chinese artists from the China National Opera and Dance Drama Theater to perform classical Chinese music, songs and dances at 7 pm Feb 7 (GMT 8). Their repertoire includes traditional Chinese music such as “Flying Dragon, Leaping Tiger“, “Moonlit Night on the Spring River“ and “On the Field of Hope“, as well as classical Chinese dances such as “Homecoming After the War“ - a dance clip from drama “Confucius“, pas de deux “Romance in the Moonlight“ and group dance “The Quiet, Peaceful Melody“.
