’Giga’ (Oude en Nieuwe Hollantse Boeren Lietjes en Contredansen, Vierde Deel, Estienne Roger, Amsterdam 1709) ’Les petits Brandes’, n° 2 & 4 (’T Uitnement Kabinet, Tweede Deel, Paulus Matthysz, Amsterdam 1649) With improvised accompaniment. ’Giga’ is a slightly different version of John Playford’s famous country dance ’Sellenger’s Round’ ; ’Brande n°4’ is also found in the ’Boeren Lietjes & Contredansen’ collection as ’Pieternelle’ and is still played (and danced) under this name in Flandres nowadays.
