This Week in Volcano News; Campi Flegrei Supervolcano Update, Cotopaxi May Erupt Again

In the last week, the Campi Flegrei supervolcano in Italy surpassed a ground uplift threshold reached in 1984 that triggered evacuations in that year. Meanwhile, in Ecuador, the Cotopaxi volcano was confirmed to have produced an eruption in October after the ash that fell was analyzed. And in Indonesia, the Semeru volcano produced a rapid increase in ground uplift and volcanic tremor, although this was short lived.
