Iran Prez Ebrahim Raisi dies in helicopter crash: Iranian embassy lowers flag to half-mast in Delhi In a major mishap, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi was killed as his helicopter crashed on May 19 near Azerbaijan border. Iranian officials confirmed to Reuters that the mishap claimed lives of Prez Raisi and FM Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
