Makvala & Archil Chiklhadze - Ossetian Love Song. The spouses, Makvala and Archil Chikhladze were a lovely folk / pop vocal duo. They were especially popular in mid-seventies. Although sparsely recording, they did one self-titled album in 1976. A bit of a mixed bag really, containing many things from Georgian pop to Indian movie songs. Although a bit unfocused, When the album sticks to simple, acoustic, distinctly Georgian approach, it delivers one classic after another.
