Bansenshukai Hunger Pills: Ninja Food

Here I make a batch of “hunger pills“ which are a compact, portable food described in the Bansenshukai, the ninja text written in 1676 by Fujibayashi Yasutake. The Bansenshukai is available in english in a book titled, “The Book of the Ninja“ by Antony Cummins and Yoshie Minami.
