“Due to insomnia a young woman named Liv is constantly slipping in and out of a state of half-sleep, constantly switching between different states of dream and consciousness. At some point she begins to notice that even when she blinks her eyes she sees a flash from a dream-image, rather than a flash of black. As she keeps falling in and out of consciousness it becomes less clear which state of perception is dream and which -if any- is reality. In one of these dreamlayers she’s found a videotape of which the contents, she hopes, will help her draw the attention of a young man Pekka. She must to transport the tape from one dreamworld into another one. She figures the best way to gain control over her twisted modes of perception is by blinking her eyes so fast that the images she sees from several worlds, merge into one, much like precinema technology, like the zoetrope.
