Pedro González López (born 25 November 2002), commonly known as Pedri, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Barcelona. He is 18 at the moment, with the jersey number 16. The player agreed to a five-year contract with the Catalans, who paid €5 million for the deal. Pedri scored his first goal for the club on 20 October 2020, in a 5–1 win over Ferencvárosi TC in the UEFA Champions League group stage, after coming on as a substitute in the 61st minute for Ansu Fati. On 7 November, in a 5–2 home win over Real Betis, he scored his first goal in La Liga after an assist from Sergi Roberto.
