I wrote ’Trainwreck’ for my friend that was in a really toxic situation with their partner, it was hard to watch them change and make themselves small. In some ways it feels like a song for my younger self, I wanted to capture the chaotic energy of a relationship that would inevitably result in both parties being hurt and losing sight of who they are.
