Skeletal Class III with posterior crossbite｜【Chris Chang Ortho】CC807

[case report] In this challenging CIII(DI=43) case the treatment didn’t begin until the male patient has reached 18 after growth spurt has stopped. Extractions of 18, 28, 37, 47 and BS screws combined with CIII elastics were applied to distalize mandibular arch in the first treatment phase. Then criss-cross elastics were used to correct posterior crossbite. 這個複雜的CIII案例(DI=43) 中，我們等到這名男性患者滿18歲，快速成長期結束後才開始治療。第一階段先利用拔牙和buccal shelf screws，合併CIII橡皮筋的使用，來distalize下顎。接著合併criss-cross elastics來矯正後牙錯咬的問題。
