Great fun to watch video making fun of all the hip hop video’s (P Diddy, Will Smith etc), the kid who plays the young Blackwood in this video does a great job too. Small fact, Richard Blackwood’s Uncle “Junior“ originally had this song out in the 80’s titled “Mama used to say“. I always thought this version of the track didn’t sound right with the “M“ missing from the line “Check you everyday on MTV“ so check out my other video’s for that version which I did at the time.
