“Somewhere Along the Way“ written by Kurt Adams and Sammy Gallop in 1951 was recorded by Nat King Cole on Capitol Records with Nelson Riddle on January 10, 1952 and peaked on the Billboard Magazine Best Seller chart on at #8. It first appeared on the LP, Top Pops (1952/1954), and was included on the CD, The Greatest Hits, released by Capitol in 1994.
