Tiny Wires / “Minor Crimes“ (Digitone, DrumBrute Impact live synthwave)

I’ve been busy with other projects and not feeling very musical until I got inspired by this video from Jeremy at Red Means Recording: The Digitone is so good at evolving, driving, 16th note synthwave basses. I had to try to build something around that. Hopefully what I came up with is different enough to be more homage than rip-off. The Digitone is doing bass, keys, lead, and that sort of cymbal swell. I have track 4 full of trigs whose condition is only on fills. The sound for that track is a slow attack noise in legato mode. So whenever I hold the Fill button, it swells in and then fades when I release. Other drums are all DrumBrute, of course. Recorded multitracked into Ableton Live with additional effects and mixing there. On Soundcloud here:
