Matyas Wolter (Surbahar) & Sanjib Pal (Pakhawaj) - Raga Gunkali

A brief Alap followed by a composition in Choutal (12-beat rhythmic cycle) in the morning Raga “Gunkali“. 16. November 2011 - Live at the Indian Embassy Berlin. This was the opening part of a “Guru-Shishya-Parampara“ Concert where Prof. Subroto Roy Chowdhury played a major Sitar recital afterwards. Being a Sitar-Player this was Matyas´ first public performance on Surbahar (Bass-Sitar).
