ROVING REPORT 8426: UNITED KINGDOM: THE MINERS STRIKE, THE MOST BITTER DISPUTE IN SIXTY YEARS
The British miners dispute is into its fifth month with no end in sight. It’s the country’s longest and most bitter dispute since 1926. The British Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock has attacked the Prime Minister for leading the country into its first ever Billion Pound dispute.
