Happy to share with you my own transcription of Kurt Rosenwinkel’s now legendary theme: “Zhivago“! The main difficulty consisted in the alternate tuning “Bb G Db Ab Bb Eb“. I had to open wide my ears to transcribe it, and not paying attention to the discrepancy between my fingers and the sound produced by this tuning! The voicings are incredible, and the rhythmic exercise is confusing... Thank you Kurt. Next step would be to improvise... But I still concentrate on standard tuning! If you like what you hear,
