The videos keep on coming! Have you had enough yet, or should I keep going? Just kidding. I’m gonna keep going. This is such a PACKED song! There’s so much going on. Rhythm stabs from John, a jaunty acoustic rhythm guitar on the J-160E (probably George), Paul on a lightning fast bass part AND playing some hella quirky lead fills. It’s so much packed into 2 minutes, all of it great. I studied those rhythm stabs closely by slowing down the isolated track, which allowed me to hear the actual chords. I added reverb in mixing, and man, that’s the sound! And how could I neglect to mention that GORGEOUS 1965 Epiphone Casino? Once again, major note of appreciation to Perry Stanley for lending out his favorite guitar. I don’t think I quite captured Paul’s tone exactly, but it’s very close. I absolutely hear pickup switching, as there are 2 distinct guitar tones playing those fills throughout the song. I put QUITE a lot of effort into studying those
