New Colliery Explosion (1958)

Full title reads: “Pendlebury. New Colliery Explosion“. Agecroft Colliery, Pendlebury, Near Manchester, Lancashire. GV Front of the coal mine at Pendlebury where the explosion took place. SV Rescue workers bringing out the first survivor on a stretcher, he is the most seriously injured, they come towards the camera and start to go by. CU Rescued man on stretcher being carried to an ambulance by rescue workers, they put him into the ambulance. SV Part of the small crowd that has gathered outside the pit. SV Second man to be rescued walking towards camera with a blanket over his head and two rescue workers walking beside him, they walk past the camera into back view. SV Another survivor being brought out on stretcher, they walk past the camera and start to disappear behind a fence. CU Other side of the fence with the rescue workers coming out carrying stretcher.
