Head First! (1940)

Titles read: “HEAD FIRST!“ London (?). At the Western College of Hairdressers we see various very good shots of hairdressers styling the hair of female models in a contest. Several shots of finished hairstyles; lots of curls - very pretty. Some are modelled with army (ATS) or forage hats / caps. A woman in a sparkly bolero and other judges look at the hairdo of one of the girls in an army cap. This ’military’ style wins the contest and the girl (looking rather odd in a strapless evening gown to go with her army cap) is given a trophy cup while her hairdresser looks on.
