The Elliots. Part of ’Sea Shell Have Music’ issue. Pathe Studios, London. Elliots’ Seven - music and mirth by this company. M/S line of male and female musicians dressed in traditional Spanish peasant-style costume. They play the “Post Horn Gallop“ on range of brass instruments - tenor saxophones, trumpets etc. Various shots of one of the men playing traditional tune on squeezebox (small accordion). M/S of two of the women playing tune using metal disks which they spin on a metal surface - very bizarre. Various shots of the four men dressed as sailors play tune with tenor sax, miniature squeeze box and ship’s wheels with car horns on. They play “The Good Ship Lollipop“. Comical.
