Tame Alligators (1949)

Tame alligator at Chertsey, Surrey. Various shots of woman taking alligator out of small tank in living room. She carries it out to the garden, her friend holds another alligator. They have a tea party at a table, the women feed bits of raw meat to the alligators. The first woman cleans the alligator with olive oil before returning it to tank. Cataloguers’ note: women are not named but both look slightly eccentric. Some people might view the way the alligators are kept as cruel. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
