Paperwork reads - Shadowgraphy. Probably filmed in Pathe studios, London. M/S of hands making shadow shape of a reindeer on a wall. M/S of the hands themselves belonging to Max Templeton of the Magic Circle. M/S of the shadow of a mirror, M/S of shadow man admiring himself, he puts shaving foam on. M/S of Max’s hands showing he is making the face with his fingers and has an extra piece of board attached to the top of his hand to make the man’s balding head. M/S of the shadow play again, he pretends to chop off the man’s nose with the razor but sticks it back on with a bit of spit. M/S of his hands working again as he pours a bottle of hair restorer on the shadow’s bald head. M/S as two new hairs spring out of the top and the shadow man laughs.
