The Name Of Macrobert Lives On (1942)

Titles read: “THE NAME OF MACROBERT LIVES ON“. Middle East. The Air Officer Commanding in Egypt, Air Vice Marshal McClaughry, arrives by plane at a Middle East aerodrome to present an RAF squadron with four Hurricanes. Each plane has a MacRobert name painted on it - Sir Roderic, Sir Alasdair, Sir Iain and ’The Lady’. The aircraft are presented in the name of Lady MacRobert, presumably in memory of the men in her family who have died in combat. McClaughry seems to be making a speech from a small platform. The men of the squadron cheer, then we see the Hurricanes starting up and flying off. Note: story ends rather abruptly but probably only a few seconds are missing.
