The Three Loose Screws (1935)

Titles read: “Now Pathetone has pleasure in presenting - Another famous Comedy Team - THE THREE LOOSE SCREWS“. London, probably Pathe Studio. M/S of two men in identical suits and hats doing a soft shoe shuffle; another man runs onto the stage and into the dancers, sending them flying into somersaults. They then do a lot of silly business, mostly involving the swarthy one in the middle (he looks a little like Peter Lawford) saying dopey things and the other two throwing their hats at him. The swarthy one then does a little tap / acrobatic dance on his own, going into a head spin at the end. The other three come back to join him in dancing a little finale. Note: One of the men talks in an American accent - not sure if it is genuine. Lots of English acts spoke in cod-US-style at this time. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
