Cinetopicalities In Brief No. 151 (1941)

At Chesapeake, United States of America, we see several shots of dogs and their owners competing in the Retriever Trials. A man shoots a bird that falls into a lake. A black retriever dog swims through the water, picks up the bird in his mouth and takes it back to a lady on land. Several shots of young boys with umbrellas climbing over some rocks and jumping into a lake. It looks like good fun, but the umbrellas don’t seem to be much help in the fall! (Location is probably United States.) At an Indiana college in America we see two teams of male students taking part in a tug-of-war contest. In the middle of the rope is a cart load of girls - they are apparently the prize! They squeal as the cart lurches back and forth; one of the teams wins and pulls the cart off.
