SURGERY resident day in the life | intern year

Follow me on IG! I SURVIVED!! It’s the first month of residency and I’m just a baby doctor starting on surgery for the first block of intern year! I take you through what it’s like to be a surgery resident as a PGY-1 from the 4 am wake up calls to the 9 pm dinners. In this vlog, I worked a 14 hour day and am in the middle of a 13-day stretch before I get a day off.
