Alec Empire “New World Order“

Alec Empire “New World Order“ was directed by Fabian Knecht in 2003. The song was a single released on Digital Hardcore Recordings in Japan in 2001. The video premiered on MTV Germany during the live broadcast of the Metallica show. Alec Empire only had to be present for the shoot for 10 minutes. Knecht grew up in former East Germany, GDR, and referenced the Stasi (East German secret service) in the video as well as Orwells “1984“.
