Eruption Number 9 Started Strong - The Town Is Fine But The Blue Lagoon Could Be History

Huge amount of lava is on it’s way to the Blue Lagoon and the Power Plant. Not only is it more total volume than during the last eruption, all of it is heading to the Power Plant this time but the lava barriers around Grindavik took got a large share of the lava last time. So this is more and less what we expected and it gets harder and harder to protect the extremely valuable infrastructure around there.
