The Sound of Beauty: Story behind the Theme Art

Turin will host the 66th Eurovision Song Contest when the show returns to Italy for the first time in over 30 years. The theme art is a visual representation of ‘The Sound of Beauty’ - the 2022 slogan. In order to represent sound and its visual (and beautiful) properties, the theme is based on the symmetrical structure and patterns of cymatics – the study of sound wave phenomena.
