College Wrestler Takes on BJJ Practice (Has a CRAZY Roll with Head Instructor)

In today’s vlog I visit my friend Jado’s gym in Laval, Quebec, Canada. Me and Jado actually had a BJJ match a few months back at a local SAU event and that’s kind of where we connected. The cool part about BJJ is that many of your competitors, if they have (and you have) a healthy ego, can potentially become really good friends. I’ve been training BJJ for almost 3 years and have met people on both sides. With that being said, we surprised Jad’s students with a last second guest instructor class taught by yours truly. This was a Wrestling for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class, with a heavy focus on Hand Fighting and scoring from short offense (the front head lock). When it comes to scoring takedowns in both Wrestling & Jiu-Jitsu, hand fighting is something that is often undertaught and therefore underdeveloped in many rooms.
