The Velvet Candles - Da Doo [2010] (Modern Doo Wop)

The Velvet Candles are Spain’s (from Barcelona)most popular doo wop group. With a style ranging from mid 50’s Rhythm’n’Blues to the great italo american doo wop groups from the early 60’s, they have been performing all over Europe with great success, name the festival... they have been there: The Screamin, Rockin´Race, Summer Jamboree, Rhythm Riot, Hemsby, Feel the 50’s... often backing some of the bigger names on the scene like Mike Sanchez, Bobby Brooks, Gaynel Hodge, Tommy Hunt, Norman Fox and many more! Their show is a joy to all the dancers in the audience, featuring a great set of jump tunes. They recently released a new EP on El Toro Records, and are working on their next album, after the success of their previous works. What a wonderful show!
