“Mayura Sandesha“ a Nirupana Chitra Nritya by Anuradha Vikranth

‘Mayura Sandesha’ is a solo dance narrative elucidating the longing of the tribal heroine Valli, for her beloved hero Skanda to be one with him. A unique ’Chitra Nritya’ technique is introduced in this dance feature where the dancer dances on a spread canvass. While dancing, the Peacock is drawn with her feet, making the beautiful bird her messenger to bring back her beloved.
