This will be a roughly microphone-sized device which hooks up to the USB port of the computer running linotune, and projects circular strobe patterns for up to 3 partials (per attachment) right onto the instrument you’re tuning. By giving you visual feedback right where you’re hammering, it tightens the eye-ear-hand feedback loop at the core of (hand)pan tuning skills. It also alleviates “tuner’s neck“ caused by having to constantly look up at your strobe and back down.
