Vintage Midland 7001 Precision Series CB radio sidebander

This is the vintage Midland 7001 Precision Series, a classic CB radio. The one shown here is a very late model that actually generates the 5KC up feature through the digital synthesizer, where earlier models did this through the inferior method of crystal shifting. The radio is a joy to operate, excellent receiver and very good modulation in all modes. It has many other features including a selectable roger beep. Frequency accuracy and stability of this radio are excellent, actually considerably better than many CB radios of much later manufacture!
