This performance features Mahamadou Diabate and Sayba Diabate on the traditional instruments, calabash and kora, as well as PFC Band member, Roberto Luti, on steel guitar. This village is the home of one of our PFC Foundation music programs—Ecole de Musique de Kirina, and also holds the roots to traditional Mali music and the Blues. “Although it is one of the poorest economic places on earth, I have never seen happier people in my life and this teaches us that it’s not about what we have or don’t have but rather what we do with what we have and how we treat each other,“ says PFC co-founder Mark Johnson. Let’s use this performance as an inspiration to create a better world around us; one that
