30 US A-10 Thunderbolt II aircraft ready to destroy Russian tanks

The US Air Force recently deployed A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft to an Air Force Base in Poland. The deployment comes amid rising tensions between Ukraine and Russia. The deployment is the US Air Force’s latest move for a bigger presence in Europe as it moves away from decades of combat missions at US Central Command. The A-10 was built for close air support of ground forces. It can operate at low speed and altitude and is very effective against tanks and other armored vehicles. The A-10 has been attacking enemy tanks and ground positions in the Middle East for years. Following the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan, the Warthog crews are now focusing on improving their tactics in two of the Pentagon’s top priority locations – Europe and the Pacific. #warinukraine #a10thunderbolt #ukrainenews Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for “fair use“ for purposes such as criticism, comment, new
