Creating the handle of a Katana’s hilt (Tsuka) with ZModeler in ZBrush
In this quick tutorial, I’m going to show you how to create the intricate woven patterns of a Japanese sword using the ZModeler tool in ZBrush. We are going to focus only on the handle (Tsuka) of the Katana’s hilt (Koshirae), but you can take this idea further and complete a full sword or apply the same technique in a different project.
