Muhammad Ali 70th Birthday - David Beckham Stevie Wonder in Vegas Former England captain David Beckham described Muhammad Ali as an inspiration as he paid tribute to the boxing legend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during a star-studded birthday celebration for the 70-year-old. “Muhammad Ali has shown us one man can make a difference. “His example of love, character, dignity, makes us want to be better. Muhammad Ali, you inspire me,“ said Beckham. The party also featured performances from a variety of artists including Stevie Wonder who performed his hit Happy Birthday. Ali’s daughter, Rasheda, had earlier told Reuters that she knew her father would be thrilled to see Stevie Wonder perform: “He has a long history with Stevie Wonder.
