Shakatak - Da Makani (1988 High Quality 60FPS Laserdisc Jazz-Fusion Background Video Music Album)

This is the 1988 LaserDisc release “Da Makani by Shakatak: Story of The Seabreeze“ (W68L 1016), a fun background video filmed in Hawaii (possibly Wakiki) as a promotion for the ’88 Kenwood Cup boating competition. This video features some absolutely gorgeous images of Hawaii. There are many long shots of beautiful scenes, enough to let the environment soak in and feel like you’re in Hawaii, basking under the orange of setting at your desk with a mouse in one hand and Cheetos in the other! I’ve uploaded quite a few background videos, but this one seems to be one of the most relaxed and calm ones. This BGV recording complements Shakatak’s CD album of the same name & released the same year. Most, but not all, of the songs from the CD are in this video.
