As the film Oppenheimer and war in Ukraine both draw attention to the threat of nuclear weapons, Melissa Parke says there is no better time for change. The former West Australian federal politician is to lead the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons. The group, also known as ICAN, represents more than 650 organisations calling for nations to sign the treaty on the prohibition of nuclear weapons. It was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2017. Ms Parke sat down with David Weber before she flies out to Geneva.
