Ultravox - Hiroshima Mon Amour (KD Remix 2024)

This is a fan-made remix following a request from a listener called Christopher Adderley - Thanks for the request Christopher - I very much enjoyed doing this classic new wave track by Ultravox. In the original, I think you can hear strong influences from the likes of Neu/Bowie/Eno. There is also a film called HMA and you can find out more details using the link below. According to a search online John Foxx said that “Hiroshima Mon Amour“ was the first synthpop/new-wave song in rock history. He may be right. I have used a couple of samples from the original, specifically the drum machine sequence at the beginning of the song and a couple of sound effects again from the intro in the original.
