268: Wonder Artistic Models Diplodocus (2023) Review

Well, it’s been a while, and what better way to get back to things than to review something I’ve wanted to do for a long time… the Wonder Artistic Models Diplodocus! I love sauropods and I love woodkits, and WAM has always delivered stunning offerings of skeletal models that are realistic, and capture as much anatomical detail as possible. I’ve reviewed a few of these, but this one has me super excited. Diplodocus is one of those iconic sauropods I learnt to differentiate at an early age. And even though its interpretation has morphed over the years, the relative gracile beauty of this very sinuous sauropod has remained. Here, Wonder Artistic Models presents its stunning wooden skeletal, and I couldn’t be happier. Capturing all the important anatomical features I associate with Diplodocus, this impressive model is so far my favourite.
