270: PNSO Yangchuanosaurus magnus (Dapeng 大鹏 2023) Review

When PNSO offered its Yangchuanosaurus shanyouensis, the small size of that disappointed and enraged many collectors. There were hopes of perhaps a magnus that would ‘rectify’ that horrible miscarriage, and at that time I remember dismissing it as a possibility. Well I now eat my words, because this is the Yangchuanosaurus mangus, in all the size due this allosauroid. A massive theropod, this model matches and even exceeds in size the Allosaurs, Torvosaurus and Saurophaganax. The high level of detail is complemented by an excellent paint job with of colour and layered blending.
