245: PNSO Tyrannosaurus Rex (Cameron 2023) Part 1

PNSO is back again and they’re doing so by dropping what for many people will be their flagship dinosaur – A Tyrannosaurus Rex! It’s been a while since we saw a T Rex. We had the wonderful Wilson a couple of years ago, and then Andrea. But what was missing since the Tarbosaurus was a T Rex with the new improved integument. Now PNSO gives us an adult male T Rex, in this badass Cameron. All the improved detail that PNSO has honed in their sculpts is now manifest in Cameron, and it my opinion it’s the best T Rex they have done. The detail and the paint is sublime and truly does this tyrant king justice. Needless to say, there’s plenty to say about this model. This is part 1 where we take a general look at Cameron itself. In part 2, we’ll look at some of the science in the Cullen et al 2023 paper, and some comparisons.
